Charity Partners
The M.O.M.S. Club of Valparaiso, sponsors of the Annual Porter County Easter Egg Hunt, select local charities to support each year. All proceeds raised for the Egg Hunt are donated directly to these partners who give back to Porter County's residents every day. The 2025 charity partners are:
GABRIEL'S HORN
Shelter for Women and Children
A Safe Harbor in Times of Need At Gabriel's Horn Shelter for Women and Children, they are dedicated to helping women and children experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives with dignity and achieve independence. They provide shelter, a safe space, and connections to vital community resources that promote financial literacy, employment opportunities, transportation, and health & wellness. Their vision is a community where generational homelessness is eradicated, and families have the resources they need to transition to stable, independent living, creating lasting stability and breaking the cycle of homelessness.
FIRST FRUITS GIVES
Working to ease the burdens of food insecurities First Fruits Gives currently serves several families in Northwest Indiana, every week. By providing food assistance, First Fruits Gives helps to ensure no child in our community has to worry where their next meal will come from.
We encourage all attendees to bring a non-perishable food item donation to the egg hunt and help support local families.
